I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, in a small town 25 minutes south of Pittsburgh!! I am 27 years young and my birthday is April 15th, I am an Aries and my birthstone is Diamond, how fitting!! Ha Ha!!!! I have 4 sisters, Jennifer 32, Melissa 31, Angela 21, and Gina 17!!! Lots of girls, poor dad!!!! I am currently unemployed, I was working as a title clerk/receptionist at a car dealership for 5 years but this past January i lost my job due to Michael and I moving to Alexandria, Virginia, so for now Im just being a full time mom to my son and blogging!!!! We love it here in Alexandria, it is a very nice area and I look forward to exploring the area and DC more!!!











I have a 9 year old son named Anthony that is the light of my life!!! I had Anthony when i was 17, I found out I was pregnant the summer before my senior year of High School, I knew my life would be forever changed, and my Senior Year of school would be very difficult now, but I didn't look back ! It was a very hard time for me, I had Anthony in March of my Senior Year and graduated in June !!! I was now a mom and only still a kid myself but I matured very fast and did what I needed to make my son number one!! I would never change it for the world, I am so blessed to have him and dont have any regrets!! I definately didn't have a normal teenager life but It was all worth it!!

                                                               




I have a wonderful Fiance , Michael, who is my best friend, soulmate, and lover!!! Michael and I met by complete and crazy fate!!!! There is a little independant Hair Salon that I have been going to forever called Hair By Brenda , my good friend Carrie works there, and she has been a great friend of the family, we all go to her to get are hair done! Carrie has never tried to hook me up on any dates in all the years I have known her, but Im glad she had a feeling and did this time!!! One day while Carrie was working at the salon, the owner was cutting a guy's hair, Carrie was cutting a clients hair as well, but she was kind of listening to their conversation that Brenda was having with this new client, he just moved here he was saying and he was from Chicago, as soon as he said Chicago Carrie's eyes lit up! See I love Chicago, its my favorite city ever, I have been there for work and fun many times, in fact I just happened to be going there that weekend for my birthday party! So Carrie heard him say that and she interrupted and said hey, my really good friend, she loves Chicago, she's going there this weekend actually, and she would Im sure show you around Pittsburgh and stuff if you wanted, she has a lot of friends and goes downtown to clubs and stuff, and he was like yeah that sounds great! So I got a text from Carrie that day and she was like hey there was this guy in here, just moved here, etc... and she was like maybe I can get his number, and at first I was like ok cool, I didnt want to date but figured I would show this lost soul around town! Well Carrie never got his number that day, she was going to get it the next time he came in, a month passed and I never asked carrie about him or wondered, like I said wasn't looking to date, especially someone I never met, so then a month later I get text from carrie again, hey he's back in here I will get his number, Im like ok, lol, thats cool, well Carrie got his number alright, she actually got it out of the book, but he was ok with that : ) so I texted him the next day and just said hey this is the girl carrie told you about, if you ant me to take you out etc... and he said yes thats cool, and the fist thing I asked him was do u like sushi?? He was like I LOVE it, I was so excited!!! I love sushi!!!! So funny!! So anyways, he called me that weekend we talked, we had alot in common and I was so shocked, I just couldn't believe it, so I said to him, let's meet at this really good sushi place called Bean Curd, its my favorite, he agreed so we planned for that Thursday. Let me tell you I was soooooooo nervous, I almost cancelled on him twice, I never have been on a blind date and was thinking it's not even worth it, I even had my friend Lindsay on call if I needed her to call me and save me from the date if it went bad!!! lol! SO I pull into Bean Curd, talking to my friend Lindsay the whole time, then I say oh my gosh think he's here was freaking out and then just calmed down, got off with her, and as soon as I got out of the car I saw this guy across the lot and knew it was him, he was the guy that was going to change my life and I was going to be with, I was still so nervous, when we sat down to eat we both got wine, I needed it I was so stressed and then we had yummy sushi, we talked forever, in fact they were closing and we were still there, we basically got kicked out, lol!!! We went to Jays after to meet up with my friends, it's a little sports bar, we had such a blast and my friends loved him and knew he was someone special! They knew and so did I, Michael was leaving he next day to go home to see his family for the Memorial Day weekend and we both could not wait til he got back to go out again, and ever since then it's been amazing, my life is complete, my son loves him as much as I do, Anthony and I are so lucky to have him!!!!!

Ok enough of the sappy romance stuff!!!!! Hehehe!!!! I started this blog because I love living a healthy lifestyle, love people, and love spreading happiness!!!! I eat really healthy, lots of fruits, veggies, organic, and whole grains!!! I do eat some treats in moderation also, especially ICECREAM!!!!!! Ummmm yeah I am also known as the Icecream Monster, because when I treat myself to it, I really do it big!!!!
