Morning! Wow yesterday was a Awesome day for me!!!! I still cant believe how great it was, it’s nice to have extra amazing days here and there ; )
- I got a sweet wedding gift from a beautiful blog friend
- I won a Vitamix on Kath Eats Blog through her and Open Sky!
- My lover surprised me with a AMAZING dinner!
- 4months yesterday exactly until my wedding!
Lots of great things and I am blessed for it all and thankful : )
Now onto that Amazing Dinner!
I had no idea where we were going, we ended up in Roanoke, Indiana, a part of Indiana Michael or I have ever been
Michael heard of this place through work and knew he had to take me!

This is part of the Restaurant! I loved how the trees had lights . looked so pretty!
The Restaurant is an Old Bank Building! It was very cool!

We got in and sat right away because mike had reservations , and we started to look at the wine list right away because we knew we wanted a glass of wine
We each got a glass of Red Merlot ; ) it was great , I love any wine !
I started to look at the menu for what I was going to eat and then………
I saw this and couldn’t believe it! Can Mike seriously be any more amazing?!
I started to tear up, was such a sweet surprise he got that put on the menu!
( you can get custom things written on their menus there , they have a different menu every week )
I seriously am so lucky to have him in my life and he never stops with being romantic and I love that! I am the same way too, I love little surprises I do for him too!
We nibbled on some yummy bread while waiting for our food ! It was delish!
I got a Beet Salad that they had off the Featured Menu, it was so amazing!
I wish i remembered exactly what the dressing was because it was so good!
Mike got a Bowl of Gumbo du Jour
He said it was awesome !
That smile never left my face last night, especially when the main meal came!
I got a Wild Caught Organic Salmon with a Stir Fry Slaw
Melted in my mouth Salmon, the best kind : ) so good
Seared Massachusetts Diver Scallops
House Made Pasta, Brussels Sprouts, Samphire, Local Mushrooms, Lemon Zest
Mike said this was one of the best scallop dishes he has had ever ; ) so it was pretty good!
Was a perfect Valentines Day Dinner! Mike did a great job as always finding a amazing place and the surprise on the menu was awesome too! Yes I did get to keep it ; )

I do like fine dining a lot , like this place we went to, but any place that has good wine , healthy options, and a beautiful atmosphere is good for me!
