Un- Bachelorette { fun }

by Healthy Diva on April 12, 2011

Good Morning

Happy Tuesday and Happy almost my Birthday! Woot Woot! I can’t wait!

I am up early this morning, Anthony has play practice before school, so I have to take him earlier than usual  ;-)

I had breakfast prepped , Dough Boy Smoothie yum I saw Kath make a while ago and knew I had to have it  :-D

Last night I put frozen strawberries, bananas,  2 tbsp chia seeds, 1/2 cup dry oats, and 1/2 cup almond milk mixed together , and refrigerated overnight

This morning I threw it in a blender, added some stevia and another 1/2 cup of milk, and topped it with Chocolate Protein Frosting and granola!  ( frosting – sunwarrior vanilla + cocoa powder+water )

This was sooooooooooooo good! I loved it! I will be making this more !

My bachelorette party was very laid back, nothing crazy , just some friends and dancing!

My BFF and some friends and I just took a party bus and went downtown dancing, I just wanted a kick back night and to dance!

We wen to a Lounge first for drinks called Five, it was a god place to chill and talk  ;-)

Oh yes, it was very untraditional for a bachelorette party,  which is what I wanted, I just wanted to hang with close friends and have a fun night out, I never see them since I moved away  :-| Dave is like a brother to me! He is SINGLE too ladies!

It was a fun night! We danced the night away

I didn’t want anything more than that, just dancing and to be with friends , it was fun!

If you are married, what did you do for your bachelorette party? Did you go all out or keep it low key?

I kept it low key, I just feel a little older for my age  ;-) having a son already, and being 29 and getting married, I just am not into the all out party with plastic penises and such  :-D lol!

I am rushing off to take Anthony to school! I will be back later for some FASHION for you loves!

Katie xoxo

Your bachelorette party looks like so much fun. That’s exactly the type of nights I love, getting dressed up, going for drinks with great friends and having a dance.

Your bachelorette party looks like it was fun! :) Love the pink dress! I am the same as you. I think for my bachelorette party I would love to get dressed up and go out somewhere that I can dance and have some drinks with my friends :)

Ooh girl i love the low key idea! I dont think I really want a huge batchlorette party with all the tacky decorations. I would be so much happier going dancing with my closest friends or a weekend get away somewhere :)

You’re party seems like what I would want. I’m an old lady for 22 (in bed at 10 every night? Yup). I just want to spent the time with my closest girl friends and have a good night of drinks and laughs but nothing I’m going to look back on and think “why did we think that was a good idea?”

I didn’t have a bachlorette party. Instead, my girls threw me a lingere party the same night my hubby had his stag. It was a blast!!!

I didn’t have a bachelorette party — we had a small wedding without any bridesmaids/groomsmen so I don’t think anyone knew who should throw me one!

Looks like a blast girl!

For my Bach party, 12 of us girls rented a house in Central Coast California and went wine tasting one day (via a driver) and the next day did a spa and brunch. It was awesome!

You rocked that dress! Beautiful :)

I’m so happy to hear you did just what you wanted for your bachelorette party. I hate how people will do things just because it’s traditional or the usual. If you really don’t want to, then don’t, especially when it comes to having fun like that. Way to represent!

Love the dress, pink is definitely your color! My bachelorate party wasn’t anything crazy either, just a good time with my close girls.

It looks like such a fun time!
For my bachelorette party we stayed in (my little sister was my maid of honor and she wasn’t 21). We played games and half weiner-shaped cupcakes. It was also low key-my kind of party.

Bachelorette party looks like a success!! What fun! I have only been to a few bachelorette parties and I remember just being with close friends and dancing the night away ;) Good times!

The breakfast smoothie sounds wonderful! How fun on the party bus for your party! Adorable pics, looks like a blast!

I actually didn’t do anything for a bachelorette party since we eloped to Vegas.

Awww..me and you are the same. When my friends asked what would make me happy for my bach, I also just wanted to dance and especially to spend time with them.

I got ALL the partying done in college and quality time is more important to me than having the “traditional bach”.
