Mint Chocolate Oats

by Healthy Diva on May 2, 2011

Good Morning! I am up at the crack of dawn!

Mike had to go to work SUPER early, so I had to be up to make him breakfast and coffee , Im such a great future wife, I need an award ! ha!

I should  get a Best Breakfast EVER Award today too…

Do you like Mint?

Do you like Chocolate?

Do you like Oats?

Well if you do then you MUST try Mint Chocolate Overnight Oats ,  they are damn amazing I tell you !

Mint Chocolate Overnight Oats -

  • 1/2 cup oats mixed with cup and a half water
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 scoop of SunWarrior Protein Powder
  • 2-3 tsp of Mint extract
  • 1 tsp Cacao Powder
  • Green Food Coloring ( hence the green color )

Topped with Chocolate Protein Frosting and a Erin Bakers Brownie Bite as seen below..

This brownie bite was yummy ! I crumbled some on top of the oats and it was amazing!

Seriously, this breakfast was Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream in oat version! I need this every day now!

How was your weekend?

And Im sure unless you live under a rock you heard about this…..

President Obama announced last night that Osama has been killed, what amazing news and what peace now for all the people who died on 9/11 and their families and friends who have suffered, just great justice for our country!
Be back later!
Katie xoxo

I bet these would be really refreshing on a hot morning!!

All day yesterday my hubby’s base was on Bravo (which is like an elevated security status) and we couldn’t figure out why…then just as we were going to bed Obama addressed the nation. I was crying!! It was just so emotional to know we’re a little bit safer now.
