Sweaty in 30 min sesh and Protein Fruit Pizza

Afternoon loves!

Glad everyone thinks Anthony is pretty scary too ! It was funny!

 

I was bummed Mike went back to work today , but then saw this and it made me happy!

 

It is the little things like this in life , that are beautiful!

 

I have not worked out in 12 days! Where have I been ? What have I been doing?

 

Oh you know, just getting married  ;-)

 

and on a honeymoon in Maui  :-D

 

Point is, I was enjoying a precious time in my life, and not worrying about working out, and I do this in my daily life , if I can’t squeeze in my regular 5 days a week, or if I only work out 3 days, or none, its OK! Life is too short to stress over it, and Im not going to die  :mrgreen:

We should all feel the same way!

 

I went back at it today, 30 minute sweat session on the elliptical! I did miss it, I have to admit, it feels good to sweat!

 

I did this awesome Fitsugar elliptical workout!

I was a sweaty mess when I was done! I had the incline on 13 as well!

 

 

I came home and whipped up something fast to eat! I needed protein, but I didn’t want a protein shake, so I made a Protein Fruit Pizza!

 

Best.Idea.Ever.

I took a whole wheat pita, grilled it up on the skillet to make it crispy, then made my protein frosting mixture which is -

Sunwarrior Protein Powder + Water AND I added almond butter in it too for healthy fat yum!

 

Topped with strawberry and kiwi slices too , I picked those up at the store the other day, cut up and fresh, love fruit!

 

I also had a cameo apple, my apple a day ;-)  I usually ALWAYS have one apple a day, I love them!

 

Im off to the pool and to read my new book I downloaded on the Kindle last night, its called ” Room” by Emma Donoghue, it is AMAZING so far! It took everything in me to not read half of it last night!

I loved “The Help”  that was a fave!

I love your attitude about not stressing and just enjoying the exciting time in your life! And I bet it felt awesome to get back to sweating after the temporary vacay — can be so good for the body to just rest for a while, and then you get back to the gym feeling rejuvenated!

Your protein pizza idea is fab! And I also loved The Help — such an amazing book! :)

yes, you have to have a positive mindset , and working out I LOVE, but I dont stress over if I am going to work out everyday or be on a strict schedule, I live life : )

I loved the Help too, and I’m definitely gonna give that one a go after your rec!! :)

And I LOVE your attitude to working out!! I’m the same now! Especially when I’m going on tour next week, I just wanna have time with friends and I’m not going to worry about not working out much. LIFE is more important! :D

I love your attitude towards working out – you’re so right that there’s no reason to stress over it – just enjoy life and get your sweat on when you can!! :)

I’m with ya girl — life is too short to ‘sweat’ about a missed workout day. I think I’m one of the rare ones that doesn’t feel guilty having 2-3 rest days a week!

I actually just finished reading Room today, and it was absolutely amazing. I read The Help before that, and loved it too :D Right now I’m reading The Kite Runner, and loving it so far.

I love your relaxed and positive attitude towards working out. I SO hope I can get there someday, too. :)

Love your fruit pizza! One of my fave things to take to parties (when I actually went to parties – haha) was fruit pizza. The “cheese” was some kind of cheesecake type mixture and it was topped with an assortment of fruits. So good!!

U know I actually do not pay attention to that, just customize the work out to fit you!! I just made sure to work hard, and if I dont hit the same targets its ok, as long as your working out hard!!!

Ahh, I feel like I’ve been missing so much since I unplugged from the blog world over the weekend. Friend, I hear ya on not stressing out about workouts. You had every right to enjoy this beautiful time in your life. No need to feel guilty – that’s not a healthy way to live.

gahhhh so many things i just updated myself on you! haha first of all APPLE PIE GUM! i’m on the hunt for that asap!! and i bought that keratin conditioner a couple of weeks ago and LOVE it!!!! its really good and a good price i haven’t tried the shampoo yet though

Your protein pizza looks great! For almost a year I had to have an apple a day. Then I sort of burned out on them, but I have them a few times a week. I’ve been reading a lot lately and just finished “A Young Mans Journey” by David Pelzer (author of a Child called It).
