Berry Amazing Protein { Wrap }

by Healthy Diva on September 28, 2011

Good Morning!

Im blogging from Blue Horse Coffee Shop  :-D

Cute little place near us, and their wifi is SUPER fast, score!

The one at Barnes and Noble was so slow , Im happy I found this place!

Dinner last night was a yummy salad, different combo

( switching up salad combos is key, so it doesn’t get boring! )

I topped this salad with a Lemon Peppercorn Tilapia

These are good for when you don’t have time to make  or money to buy fresh fish :-D

Spinach, Tomato, Veggies, Tilapia , and Hummus

I snacked on some glenny’s in the day…

Cheddar ones, love these!

My favorite soy crisps ever though are at Whole Foods, 365 brand, cheddar ones!

I did more unpacking and organizing yesterday too, put summer clothes away  :-|

I have plastic bins that I put them in, they slide right underneath our bed, and make storing easier!

I store shoes in the bins too!

Breakfast!

If you are looking for a yummy and protein filled breakfast I have a wrap for you  :-D

 { Berry Protein and Granola  Wrap }

Make some Sunwarrior Protein Frosting , then mix some berries and granola into it

( I used lovegrown granola and Dole Berry Mix )

This makes for the BEST wrap filling ever!

Spread the mixture of yum on a wrap  :-D

Fold it up and ENJOY!

This was amazing! Quick, easy, and a new kind of breakfast I will be making again!

{ Workout Cardio Blast }

from oxygen magazine

1. Jumping Jacks 30 seconds

2. Rest 20 seconds

3. Burpees 10-12 reps

4. Rest 20 seconds

5. Invisible Jump Rope 30 seconds

6. Rest 20 seconds

7. Jumping Lunges 30 seconds

8. Rest 20 seconds

9. Mountain Climbers 60 seconds

* repeat this routine 2 times through, rest for 2 minutes before starting second time

Great workout, when you are traveling, need something new, or need a quick workout!

I am starting to go to the gym where I live tomorrow,  its really nice, which I am so happy about!

Have a great day loves!

Katie xoxo

I just started going to the gym where I live now this week and it’s so much friendlier/homier than my old gym. Plus the classes seem pretty amazing. Hope your new gym is just as welcoming :)

It is SOOOO good! Sucky photos, my new lighting in kitchen no bueno, its giving my pics a yellow tone, and it was still dark outside this morning, so could not take pics outside, I had to play around with the photos in photoshop to try to make it look better ; )

Alright girl, we seriously are the same person; everytime I eat fish I put a big blob of hummus on it! And I love making wraps with different fillings! :-)

Avocado :)

Great wrap idea! And I love that workout – it’s a great one for travelling because you only need your body, no equipment needed. :) Imaginary jump ropes travel well ;)

Almonds, arugula and avocados! It took me a minute to think of three lol. I like to store my clothes and shoes in bins too, it’s the best way. I might try that workout plus a long walk with the dog instead of a boring treadmill or elliptical session. Have a lovely day.

Your wrap looks delicious, and I love that it’s so colorful too! Oh and those soy crisps are super addicting…dangerous really! I made double cheese “nachos” with them by melting cheddar on top! So good, especially dipped in guacamole!
