Berry Stuffed

by Healthy Diva on January 13, 2012

Good Morning to my wonderful friends!

It’s Friday, so Im sure everyone is very happy, BUT most of all be happy to be alive!

Thank you for the sweet comments on my vlog, I need to always do the diva approved vlog style and I need to make or have someone make me a diva approved button for my blog.

Dinner last night was simple and was a meal Mike and I enjoyed together!

Stir fry veggies from Trader Joe’s, a good veggie mix to use for stir fry or for anything  :-D

La Choy stir fry sauce,  I actually like this sauce and Mike did too. He usually likes spicy , but since I don’t we picked this one. I have had this one so many times, I always bought it for making stir fry’s.

I chopped up chicken to be added and cooked it on the skillet and we got a yummy meal…

we both enjoyed  :-D

Im proud of Mike wanting to make little changes to eat better and he has been doing good!

{ Breakfast }

Oh breakfast was so good today and I am berry stuffed from it  :-D

Cocoa Berry Protein Stuffed French Toast

Yup it was berry amazing, as you can see, and very filling.

Ingredients2 slices of whole wheat berry bread, 1 cup egg whites, stevia, coco protein frosting, berries

Make french toast by putting 1 cup egg white mixture in a bowl and add stevia in there too, mix together, take 2 slices of bread and slather them with the egg white mixture until fully covered. Cook the slices on a skillet until browned. Make the coco protein frosting and spread on each piece of toast. If you have fresh berries throw them on top of each piece of toast, or if frozen, defrost first in microwave. Put two slices together and top with a couple more berries and maple syrup or syrup of your choice!

I have Insanity on my agenda today and its going to be a tough one! I am so excited though the weekend is here, because tomorrow we have some exciting plans…

We have 3 appointments to look at houses we are interested in! The process is starting and we seriously could not be more excited! We have had quite a journey the past 3 years, and to be able to know we are settling here and can purchase a house is a great feeling! I will let you guys know how it goes!

5 Friday Links to check out…

- Jennifer Aniston shares her must have products, love her!

- 10 foods that will keep your belly full!

-  These  heels are just too damn cute!

- A mascara that I own and love, my beloved Dior Show is no longer around. I like this one and it has replaced my dior, the other dior ones I just don’t like.

I just made stir fry the other day and couldn’t get over how easy and and great it is. And so versatile! You can literally throw whatever the heck you have in there :)

thanks so much for your optimism Katie. You always bring light to my day! I woke up feeling so iffy but you’re right, at least I woke up. Happy to be alive!

I love stuffed french toast! You should look for a house near us, it’s an adorable neighborhood and a good school district! ;)

Either Urban Decay or Benefit is made by the same company as Dior (according to someone in Sephora), so check out their mascaras if you still want to hunt for something new!

Oh YUM that french toast looks great! I also am not a huge bread eater – I have a whole grain loaf in the freezer for every now and then – but I will definitely be making this this weekend!!

I MUST get around to making some of your DIVA patented (*wink*) protein frosting. You serve it on everything, and I am always looking to add more protein to all of my meals! :-)
