I am so sad to report that Diva Approved will not happen tonight. I have been gone since 1:30pm and just got home now.We had a long afternoon and evening of house hunting today, exhausting and exciting at the same time.
Turkey Chili leftovers for dinner tonight were perfect for a fast meal!
Oh and I forgot to share the recipe with you guys, simple and easy!
Crockpot Turkey Chili
Ingredients – 2 lbs of ground turkey, 2 tablespoons chili powder,1 tablespoon ground cumin, 1 can crushed tomatoes in puree undrained, 1 can dark red kidney beans, 1 can light kidney beans, 1 cup water, 1/4 cup franks red hot sauce
Cook ground turkey, chili powder, and cumin in skillet until browned ; drain. Transfer to crockpot. Stir in tomatoes with juice, beans, water, 1/4 cup hot sauce.
Cook on low setting for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.

House hunting went great! We saw 6 houses and I fell in love with a kitchen in one of them. I snuck a camera picture in of it.
It was so pretty! I loved the countertops and the backsplash! Beautiful! The island is so pretty too!
House hunting is fun, and its great to see different houses to see what you really love. We know what we really want in a house, so have narrowed it down to seeing houses that offer that. We are very excited !
Things we know we want in a house…
*Master bathroom with double sinks!
*Nice deck!
* Finished basement!
*Nice Kitchen!
*2 car garage
*4 bedrooms
*at least 2 full bathrooms
So hoping we find that house of our dreams soon, just a good starter house for our family <3
I think its time for me to dip some of these in some peanut butter

Happy early birthday Gina! buying a house is such a process. good thing your hubby knows how to read the legal docs! i seriously did not read one thing fully. my mom was our attorney so i obv just trusted her…or i wouldve had a meltdown! idk how she does it everyday! Looking forward to diva approved!

My kitchen right now is so tiny that my husband and I can’t cook together anymore because we both can’t fit in! Can’t wait to get outta there.
Our kitchen is tiny now too, has been tiny apartment kitchens for almost 4 years now! Yeah, you will be so happy to get a home!
Nice kitchen is a must! It’s the most expensive room to remodel, so its better to just start with a good one! Other must have: huge closets and good storage space.

Kitchen was a must for us, my husband and I LOVE cooking. Living in northern Canada a heated garage was another must have!

that kitchen is beautiful!! it was important to us to have a lot of space… not necessarily a huge house (that’s not what we have) but our house is really open.. our living room and kitchen and family room are kind of all in one with no walls really and i love that.. it makes the house feel bigger!

i like that kitchen too. dig open layouts like this. esp. if they look out on the eating area or family room. (i hate not being able to see stuff, what’s going on when i’m deep in the kitchen.) love the colors. would prob change the hardware, though, to something like brushed nickel.

oo that kitchen looks lovely! At the time when Scott bought our house he was only 22 and not making the same money that he is now. Our house is pretty small but it’s in a nice neighborhood and has a decent sized backyard. Eventually we’d like to buy something bigger… double sinks would be nice now that you mention it!!
Its ok to start small, its good to save up and really know what you want and get a bigger home one day for sure! I bet your home is lovely!
