The best part is waking up to a love note from my love…
Had to cover some of the note, Mike and Katie eyes only, haha!
Oh and overnight oats are a best part to wake up too as well…
I added the sunbutter last night, so yeah it looks a little weird, but oh so good! I did a overnight oat combo with cottage cheese again, but didn’t have them whipped, just regular. I always love to have protein in my meals, mostly I do protein powder in oats, but it is good to switch it up!
I did mix some stevia with the cottage cheese to make it sweet, I love the sweet 
Best part of waking up was waking up to a winter wonderland too! Anthony has a 2 hour delay and he is pretty excited to wake up to this. Me, I don’t mind the snow, but I do want spring here soon!
I am not sure if I am leaving the house today, we will see. I planned today as a stay home day anyways so its ok with me, but I do have baby shower invites to pick up! I will be grabbing those so I can come home and address them all to get out in the mail for Friday!

Last night we went to Lowe’s to get the paint for the nursery, getting painted tonight and I will share pics once it is all finished on Friday! I have to buy a couple things off etsy today as well for the nursery! I can’t wait to share with you guys, the nursery is going to look so cute!
Dinner was a salad with salmon, mmmmmmm!
Cooked up a piece of salmon and topped it on a bed with spinach and veggies, asian sesame dressing on top!
Dessert was some of these Figamajigs, well the whole bag actually, haha! I forgot to take pic so here is one I took when I first got these in the mail. They are SO good and I have been on such a chocolate kick the past couple days.
Time to get this day started! Anthony’s school just cancelled , so looks like I am in today except for some small errands
Oh and the Diva Bump page was UPDATED this morning! 24 weeks this week!

The Figamajigs sound amazing! I used to love Fig Newtons back in my glutinous days, and I love dark chocolate – so this sounds like a winning combination.
As for the best part of waking up, for me it’s definitely my cup of coffee. The first thing I bought when I got my first post-grad school paycheck was a coffee maker with an automatic brew timer. I set it to brew a few minutes before my alarm goes off in the mornings, and I’m always grateful for a fresh cup of java at my fingertips.

Yay for a snow day! I’m jealous! I was hoping we were going to get a lot of snow but unfortunately this part of PA where I am, we are only supposed to get 2-4 inches. Enjoy your snow day with Anthony!
that’s funny that Anthony only has a 2 hour delay. the snow isn’t even here yet and Eric has a snow day from work and all of the schools are closed!

Lucky snow day for Anthony!! I was really hoping for a snow day from work yesterday but that didn’t happen. We did end up closing early but I was already off by then… ha! Can’t wait to see the nursery!!
Working from home today due to the snow! I live in the city(ish) so it doesn’t seem all that bad here but the snow is still falling…. I’m sure the suburbs got pounded! I’m ready for spring….

It’s actually 5:55am for me right now (I’m in Cali) and I have to be up to make my registration time for school! We each get a registration time, and lucky me, mine is at 6am. Yuck! Haha- but I am looking forward to breakfast, as always

Love the fig/chocolate combination. You must try the Theo chocolate bar with figs and fennel in it… it’s a crazy good combination.

Could you two be any cuter?! Look at all that snow! I don’t miss that at alllllll-although it appears that Nick and I may be moving in the next 6-8 months back north to a city very well known for its snow/winter weather.
The best part of waking up for me is coffee! I never thought I’d be one of those people who needs coffee every morning but it is a full-blown addiction now. I’ve never had a fig in chocolate but I’m always open to trying anything covered in chocolate. Enjoy the snow day-make some hot chocolate for me!

We had a snow day yesterday (my husband and I are teachers), but now we’re back to work today. It was nice, though, to be home and relaxed–to bad that can’t go on ALL week.
