Chocolate and Fiber For Breakfast

by Healthy Diva on January 16, 2013

Hey Hey! Happy Wednesday friends! Half way through the week, woot woot!

Not much to share about  last night, I never got to start watching Girls but hoping to today somehow!

Dinner was very light, wasn’t feeling that great and for some reason the past couple weeks I don’t get hungry for my dinner. Pregnancy symptoms, it happens.

Part of my dinner was Wasa light and crisp crackers topped with all natural chicken salad.

I had to use that salad up since it was going to be bad after yesterday, it was so good! I got it at my local natural food store but need to make my own!

I also had a big veggie bowl with goat cheese and olive oil butter spray as well, nothing too heavy. I felt ok after eating, but I had to make myself eat and hoping this no hunger at night ends soon! I know that Baby G is a hungry monster,  maybe he/she just not liking the night eating, haha!

I slept like poo, Mike was snoring and sleeping like a baby! I was so jealous, haha! Pregnancy means no sleep over here and no wine equals doomed!

*******

Breakfast this morning was a bowl of fiber and chocolate!

I have a cereal WIN! I almost had another bowl too, that’s how good it is  icon wink Chocolate and Fiber For Breakfast

Fiber and Chocolate in a bowl, check!

I picked up this new Fiber One cereal the other day, soooooo glad I did because it is delicious! Finer One Chocolate squares!

These will be gone, so I am going to pick up another box this week. I have not had any Fiber One cereals in a long time, I used to eat Fiber One cereal all the time, even just the plain fiber one that most people say taste like paper, lol.

Breakfast and cereal win for me too!

Another Fiber One product I picked up the other day that was simply awesome….

Fiber one protein coconut almond bar!

Tasted like an almond joy! I usually don’t buy fiber one bars since the low  protein but these ones are new and do have 6 grams! Not bad for a little bar!

I am on a Fiber One kick over here  icon mrgreen Chocolate and Fiber For Breakfast

Lots of fiber needed over here too, constipation is one symptom of pregnancy I get and it is no bueno! Fiber helps!

Well I am off to take these two peeps to the airport, my parents are off to Key West for a few days! LUCKY!

I used to be a fiber one fanatic back in the day lol Still am but just switched to Trader Joe’s instead. ;) I’ll sometimes throw in a spoonful of cocoa powder to make it all chocolately. :) TJs fiber granola bars are pretty good too. I prefer the chocolate chip to pb chocolate because it’s a tad less sweet. My favorite cereal right now is hot oatmeal with a big spoonful of TJs raw almond butter stirred in with a shake of cinnamon, perfect for the cold weather here.

My tummy and the fiber products don’t get along. :( Most of them fortify the bars and cereal with inulin to up the fiber content and when eat inulin…well insteresting things happen. HA!

I hate it when my boyfriend is snoring away and I can’t sleep! Haha. Can you try some melatonin to help you sleep? I’m not sure if it’s Okay for pregnant women, but it’s fairly natural and works well.

I like Fiber 1 products a lot! I’ve just tried their bars though. I’ve wanted to try the cereals but I’m afraid they won’t fill me up for very long! The protein bar sounds AMAZING though!

My favorite cereal right now is GoLean by kashi with almond milk. Yeah it doesn’t have a ton of flavor but you get a lot in a serving size, I like the texture and it does a great job of filling me up!

Chocolate for breakfast is always a win in my books :) I’ve never actually tried any of the Fiber One cereals, but I do love me some cinnamon Puffins and Kashi Cinnamon Harvest. I guess it’s all about the cinnamon around here :)

Hope you’re having a great Wednesday! <3

thakyou for replying my last comment it made me smile! also you should try creme cheese spread with some stevia and fruit slices on the wasa crispbread as a snack or drizzled honey on the creme cheese and fruit too! my favourite cereal is actually just plain allbran.. but i make it into a pudding with soymilk and pysillium husk i let it get all soggy as its microwaved in soymilk, stevia, cocoa powder and 1 1/2 tablespoons of pysillium husk! super filling.. and after that brekkie i end up getting 71gramss of fiber for the day O.O

Your breakfast bowl looks SOOO pretty, I love that heartbowl! I like Honest O’s a LOT. Even though I have to order them in from Vitacost, NO healthy or gf cereal over here, slow slow Switzerland!

Fiber One is the only cereal I eat and I might be the only person who likes those strange worm things. I can’t believe they have chocolate now.

I’m not pregnant but sleep isn’t coming easy either. :(

Hope your parents enjoy their stay at Key West! Maybe they can at least bring back some sun for you if you can’t manage to fit into their suitcase ;) ?!

I hope the extra boost of fiber helps your stomach and also that you’ll be able to sleep better again!

I’ve actually never tried fiber one products before! Chocolate for breakfast is always a win. The caffeine in it makes me feel a little more productive with life.
