Crazy Chips

by Healthy Diva on February 17, 2013

So yesterday while we were out at Target ( don’t we live there? ) I spotted some crazy flavored chips and was blown away by the flavors!

Crazy flavors! I think the garlic bread one I would pick and like the most out of all these! I do love sriracha, but as a chip I just don’t see me liking it!

The things they come up with these days. I remember when I was little they had simple flavors and I did love my chips.

Favorite Chip Flavors

  • Barbeque
  • Sour cream and onion
  • Ruffles cheddar cheese chips

Oh man I loved the Ruffles chips so much, we didn’t always get those though since they were more expensive. Mom got the generic chips a lot, but we still loved them. I loved dipping plain chips in ranch dressing like nobody’s business, now I want to throw up thinking of that combo!

I have to say I am not even really a chip person anymore, I like doritos or cheetos if I want something yummy in a bag!

Happy Sunday friends! Off to look at paint colors soon with my sister for the nursery and then going to box with Mike for a workout at my parents house!

See you tomorrow for MIMM! Notice the new MIMM logo?!

Soy crisps is all I eat now. I liked sour cream and onion when younger.

LOVE the new logo!! Chicken and Waffles?? omg EW!! That combo sounds horrible to begin with much less chips!! I think the other two would be better by far!!

I LOVED the cheddar ruffles! I might try the garlic bread flavor, but just thinking about how greasy they probably are makes me sick! Funny how much eating clean makes things I used to love so unappealing. :)

omg yesterday I was thinking ‘man I could go for some chicken and waffles’ how yummy! I need to find these! PS: Love the MIMM logo! (:

I love the new MIMM logo!! I loved chips when I was younger too, but I’ve really gotten out of the habit of eating them so much. The only chip I really eat now is Food Should Taste Good multi-grain chips….they are fantastic! As a kid, I pretty much loved any chip, but my favorites were Ruffles dipped in French Onion dip.

OOoooo French Onion dip…SO good! Somebody needs to come of with a “healthy” version of this! ;)

I’m pretty sure you could make it healthy with a base of greek yogurt! You’d have to figure out how to make the seasoning mix though. Hmmm….project, anyone?

You should try Sarah’s vegan onion dip! I haven’t made it (yet) but I know a few people who have and they loved it! And I’ve never had one of her recipes let me down in the past! :D

the new logo is cute!
I have to admit that I am intrigued by the new chip flavours..I think I’d be curious to try the sriracha ones.
I was never a huge chip fan – I’ve always been all about the sweet snacks. That being said, I’ve always loved sour cream and onion, ketchup (can you tell I’m Canadian?) and pretty much any flavour of Doritos.

Oh man Target. I can’t walk in there without buying a ton of extra stuff. Love the new logo, it’s very diva approved! :)

I saw the commercial for these crazy chip flavors yesterday and was awfully intrigued by the cheesy garlic bread and the sriracha flavors. Both sound pretty tasty to me, but I do not see myself actually buying a bag because a bag of chips and me alone in my apartment never ends well. Plus, if I am going to buy an “unhealthy” bag of chips it is going to be nacho cheese Doritos alll the way! It has been forever since I have eaten them, but I am fairly certain that I still love them :).

Love the new MIMM logo! So pretty! I’m not a fan of flavored chips! I do love the food should taste good sweet potato chips though. So good!

The only one that sounds remotely appetizing is the cheesy garlic…but I’m with you on the plain Ruffles! We always got the generic ones too haha.

Today I buy myself reduced fat Ruffles as a treat, and I dip them in plain chobani mixed with salsa. Sooooo yummy.

Those ARE some crazy chip flavors! Ha! I rarely buy chips but my favorites are sour cream & onion and salt & vinegar! I’m all about the salty!

I saw those on GMA the other morning and could not IMAGINE what chicken and waffles would taste like in chip form… It kind of makes me shiver thinking about it lol.

I haven’t eaten chips since I gave them up for Lent in eighth grade! So long ago. I did love the Ruffles chips, though, because the flavor got stuck in the little crevices. Haha!

Love the new logo! Those flavors are nuts. Who comes up with that?!?! I would have to go with the garlic bread one, too. My favorite chips growing up we’re most definitely those ruffles cheddar ones. I haven’t had them in years! I wonder if I would even like them anymore??

What the….!? Haha, wow. I was never a chip person, even as a child. Chips will always remind me of my brothers because that was their snack of choice (and still is!) These days, I can do without chips unless they are of the pita or tortilla variety. :) Now those are good!

I am not a chip person, at all (thankfully). My cousin just purchased the sriracha chips and loves them. Have an amazing Sunday :D

Walkers in the UK and Ireland had a competition last year for people to create crazy flavours and then they made five of them…they had onion bhaji…Crispy Duck and Hoisin…a fried breakfast..chili chocolate and fish and chips! I’m not a crisp fan I always end up with heartburn! Love my kale chips :)

We didn’t get chips very often as a kid but when we did I really liked the sour cream & onion, bbq, and the cheddar & sour cream (we were very alike as kids apparently!). I don’t often eat chips and since I have more of a sweet tooth than a salty one, I still don’t often eat them but now I prefer Pop Chips in BBQ or sweet potato. In fact, sweet potato Food Should Taste Good chips are amazing too!

I’m not crazy about chips, either, but won’t say no to some plain salted tortilla chips every now and then. Or peanut curls :).

ahh- I saw the Sriracha and Chicken & Waffles, but I had no idea about the cheesy garlic bread. I’m not a big chip person, I like eating indian poppadoms and spraying them with truffle oil out of my misto oil spritzer. I want to try some of their new flavors, but don’t want to waste money if they taste bad. I’d rather just eat real chicken and waffles, ha! Thanks again for sharing my site on Facebook!

I’m totally intrigued with the chicken & waffles flavor…I heard they were actually pretty good! Lol Not so sure about the sriracha since I’m a bit of a spicy wimp, but I really don’t see how you could go wrong with cheesy garlicky chips! Yum!

Love the new logo! So cute!!

Oh my, I cannot be in a room with chips. I will take chips over sweet ANY DAY!
When we were little my brother got us hooked on fritos scooped in that spreadable Cheddar cheese with Port wine. Oh my head, we would eat that all in one sitting!

I am not crazy about new flavors, I Love me the ruffles sour cream and onion or sour cream and cheese! YUM!

I am OBSESSED with the Sriacha ones. Even the bf who isn’t a chip person admitted to having some the past few days with his lunches. We lived in the south a while and chicken and waffles are amazing. I’m not sure how the chips will translate but the real thing is delicious. Try them, I swear, you will like them!
