Little Surprise and a New Pregnancy Workout

by Healthy Diva on December 29, 2012

Yesterday Mike had a little surprise that was so sweet, he knows the girly movie lover in me and what a perfect fit for right now…..

What To Expect When Your Expecting on dvd!

We watched it last night, it was a cute and funny movie! I am hoping that I have a labor like the lady who Brooklyn Decker plays, haha! She sneezed and babies were out, got to LOVE how fake that is! Labor would never be that easy, might be hell but so worth it!

We enjoyed watching the movie, while Anthony was out at the mall shopping and having dinner with his godmother. Anthony would not want to watch that movie, haha! Nor would he be allowed!

Dinner last night was a pregnancy craving that has been happening, hamburgers! Yup!

Well, I cooked up hamburgers the other day and had a couple more to use so I crumbled one up in a mexican style salad while Mike had tacos! I was wanting the red meat, was so good and the salad hit the spot with the hamburger, guacamole, cheese, salsa, and chips!

Mike and I passed out early last night, I went into bed and read some of my pregnancy journal and snoozed away after that. The pregnancy journal is really great, loved these 4 month tips it had in it!

*********

This morning I was up bright and early as usual, had waffles on the mind!

I made these waffles not so boring by topping them with some chobani greek yogurt, sunflower seed butter, strawberries, and grabola!

A new workout happened today, thanks to a christmas gift I got a little late, Pregnancy Project by Tracey Anderson!

I did month one’s workout today since I am a little behind, I loved it! Review and other pregnancy fitness coming up in a post tomorrow!

What happened for lunch on this freezing cold day after my workout?

Oh a smoothie to warm me up, haha!   icon wink Little Surprise and a New Pregnancy Workout

Chocolate strawberry and cherry protein smoothie

Ingredients- 1 scoop of pure matters chocolate pea protein, strawberries, cherries, silk vanilla almond milk, 1/3 cup oats.

Topped with coconut butter that I could not get to melt! My last coconut butter jar must be a bad one, It will just not melt! The pea protein was delicious in a smoothie, first time trying it in one!

Well guys, I hope you all had a wonderful Saturday! We are snowed in here again, we woke up to a winter wonderland again. Have a great rest of the day!

I saw it! I thought it was pretty funny, but I’ve yet to ever be pregnant. I’ll have to watch it again when the time comes :-)

Do you blend the oats in the smoothie? Does it make it chunky?

Yup, I just add them to it! It makes my smoothie thicker!

Thanks for mentioning that movie. I wanted to see it when it came out at the theater and then forgot about it. No snow in Texas, but it is definitely cold. Hubby’s building a fire now! ;)

In hopes of not sounding weird: I’m so happy for you to experience a much better pregnancy this time. You seem to enjoy it such a lot and that’s great!

Aw, watching that movie with you is so sweet of Mike. I’ve been considering to watch it but wasn’t sure. Now that it’s Katie-approved I might give it a try as well :) .

Snow? Not at all around here :) . My mum and I spent an almost Spring-like shopping day at around 46 ° F today.

Not weird at all! In fact, I am going to do a pregnancy post about the difference in my pregnancies. I was only 17 when I had Anthony, so yes VERY different this time!

That movie was cute! My labor was not bad- I’m not lying either! She took 25 minutes and the epidural took away any form of pain. Crazy town. I think your labor will be the same (I hope!). Your waffles look delicious. Perfect way to start the day.

Wow! Lucky girl! I was induced with Anthony, and it wasn’t bad! I am wondering if I will end up induced again, who knows!

We’ve gotten snow for the past 2-3 days and we’re supposed to get more tomorrow…winter kinda hit us all at once!

I’ve been curious about the movie, I’ll have to see it sometime.

I saw that movie in the theater when I was pregnant along with three other pregnant friends. We must have looked pretty funny with our bumps. :)

Somebody was just telling me how funny that What To Expect When You’re Expecting movie is. I’m not a huge JLo fan, but I might have to see it now that two people have told me it’s good in the past few days!

I wish I got snow! But I did get some nice rain that sounds really soothing against the window! That smoothie looks really good right about now!

No snow but sooo much rain :-( . It is really chilly and damp too. Wish we did have lovely snow instead, how festive! Haven’t seen the film but really want to, it looks very funny! Have a great Sunday Katie!

Yeah glad you like the journal:). Wow that’s mad Jack Reacher was filmed near you. Did you see them filming it? The film was good, Tom Cruise certainly looked fit in it. We went for pizza afterwards, funny I’ve been having pizza every day over the holidays. Need to blast the exercise in 2013. Enjoy the rest of the weekend xx

I loved What To Expect When You’re Expecting! We were just talking about Dennis Quaid today actually, because he was in Playing for Keeps. Both were good movies, but in both of them he played kind of sleezy characters. Brooklyn Decker’s pregnancy was too funny :)

That’s so sweet that he got you that movie! I have yet to see it.
Yes, we got a TON of snow the other day… wouldn’t stop! I can’t stand the snow, so it’s not been too fun… missing FL so bad right now. Hope you & baby G are staying warm & cozy!

I have yet to see that movie but I SOO want to! The Back Up Plan (also with JLo) is one of my favorite girly pregnancy movies! I DIE laughing at all the silly pregancy exaggerations! :-D

I’m still not sure how I felt about the movie. It was cute but very predictable. I guess it was a nice distraction for the night? Happy New Year’s Eve, love :) wishing you and your family all the very best in 2013!
