TJ’s Highlights Tuesday

by Healthy Diva on February 19, 2013

Been a little busy day over here, so I don’t have much to say, but I do have some Trader Joe’s highlights to share! I found a couple new things to try and some regular loves were picked up too!

I didn’t post all I bought, since it seems repeated every week and that is boringggggggggg.

Highlights today…..

Mmmmm I love artichoke hearts and these were new to me today at TJ’s! I can’t wait to add them to a salad or eat them straight up, hehe!

My favorite fruit blend! Can’t get enough and always good in oats or a smoothie!

IMG 0435 TJs Highlights Tuesday

They are BACK! I look forward to these coming back and I love them! Mahi Mahi burgers are so good and TJ’s is my favorite place to get them!

IMG 0436 TJs Highlights Tuesday

A veggie I love but have not had in forever, brussels sprouts. When I first got pregnant there were few veggies I could stand and these were one, glad to have them back!

IMG 0437 TJs Highlights Tuesday

Red Pepper spread with eggplant and garlic!

I am sooooooooo excited to try this, I heard other people rave about it and thinking about putting it on my chicken tonight!

IMG 0438 TJs Highlights Tuesday

Spicy hummus!

First time getting this, how have I never seen this? I don’t think it is new, but I am excited! I love spicy!

IMG 0439 TJs Highlights Tuesday

Sliced roast turkey breast was back this week, phew! I was so happy to see it since last time I was there it was sold out! Baby G loves turkey!

IMG 0441 TJs Highlights Tuesday

These whole wheat tortillas are great for taco night or just for lunch! You could even stuff two wraps with a protein and have fruit on the side since they are so small and low calorie!

IMG 0442 TJs Highlights Tuesday

I am not usually into the frozen meals, but this looked pretty good and a quick dinner in a pinch for Mike and I with some veggies and a salad on the side. Hoping it is good!

Well I am off to do some more cleaning around here, much needed laundry folding is awaiting, oh so excited! Haha! Anthony needs some homework help too!

Have a great rest of your Tuesday friends!

Darn it, those artichokes are calling me! Love those! I just got back from TJ’s myself and picked up a bunch of bags of vegetable fried rice and a jar of the organic virgin coconut oil. Do you have any use recommendations for the coconut oil? I have heard good things about it, just not sure how to use it.

What are your TJ must try’s? We always go when we are in the States but I never know what to try. This time we are there for 2 weeks so I am going on a TJ’s only diet. LOL. Anyways you always find yummy things so wanted your suggestions!

That berry blend is the best! I love the pre cooked turkey too. So convenient to have on hand!

I love those for wraps and taco night too, and TJ’S have brown rice one as well that are a bit bigger. Tomorrow is my TJ’S run.
* As for Gayle, she asked about their coconut oil. I love it! I have one in the kitchen and one in my bathroom. I use it all over since I have dry skin. Their coconut body butter is very good too. * =)

Having a TJs is the best thing ever. I am so thrilled SLC finally got one! Perishables for the win! I currently have those artichokes, that berry cherry blend, the eggplant spread, and the turkey breast. I will have to check the other things!

No TJ’s up here so I’m going to talk abouttttt… the weather :D It’s kind of a gray day over here, and it’s cooled down a lot since last week. Bah! I thought that the closer we got to Spring, the warmer it would get! Here’s hoping that Spring comes soon, because I’ve had about as much as I can handle with this snow business. At least the days are getting longer, though. Hope you’re having an awesome day, love!

I find something new everytime I go. Endamame crackers and Dark Chocolate covered powerberries were new for me last time, just wish I had one close to me. I only get there every couple months!

I’m a huge Brussels fan…plus the roasted red pepper spread is good. If you like eggplant, there’s a good spread from TJ’s.

I noticed the mahi mahi burgers were back too! My heart skipped a beat.
I haven’t seen the artichokes yet but I’m making a trip there tomorrow or Thursday so I’ll keep my eyes out for them!

It looks like you and I love similar vegetables. I am a huge fan of artichoke hearts (especially on pizza, in soups, and in salads), and I LOVE roasting brussel sprouts. Yum!
