First Marvelous in My Monday {yay}

Hi peeps!

Today is the first “Marvelous in my Monday” weekly link up and in case you missed the details, read here!

I really hope as the weeks go on we get more and more marvelous Monday love going on! I am excited to read all your posts and thank you for joining in!

“Marvelous in my Monday”

I actually have a marvelous recipe to share with all of you today, that is my marvelous I want to share today. I love protein cookies, well we call them protein cookie balls as Mike says.

“Honey, can I have some of your yummy balls?”  Yup, that is what I heard from Mike when I made them, sounded kind of creepy and weird, lol!

So if anyone would like some of my “balls” , here is a new recipe I have to share!

**I have other protein cookie recipes too, look on my recipe page under yummy treats!

Simple ingredients!

1/2 cup oats, 1 egg white, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 4 droppers full orange stevia, 1/4 cup carob chips, 1 tbsp almond butter, 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder ( I used fitmixer, you can use any )

Mix all ingredients together, form into balls, place on a cookie sheet with parchment , bake at 350 degrees for about 10-12 minutes , let cool and enjoy!

These balls are diva approved and hubby approved, Mike loves these as much as me! He loves all the combos of them I have made so far and these are awesome for a pre-workout snack!

I don’t have a blog site yet (hope to someday soon!) but wanted to share my marvelous monday posts here!

Today I made a marvelous monday green machine smoothie! It was a great reward after my long run this monday morning :) Here’s what was in it:

-A few dallops of trader joes plain greek yogurt
-A little bit of trader joes original almond milk
-1 cup frozen spinach
-1 cup frozen kale
-1 banana
-1/2 orange
-1/2 cup berries from trader joes frozen berry medley
-1/2 scoop of ALIVE vanilla protein powder

SO GOOD!!

Hello:) thx for the recipe, I followed your recipe the protein power I used was 1/4 cup, I used designer whey. They turned put really hard do you think I did something wrong?

Hmmmmm well I don’t know how much one scoop is, I use one scoop full of my protein powder. I would say maybe use little less protein and add a little more egg white if it is not workable!

I do not know a lot of people like that and I am grateful to know you!
