Marvelous was getting takeout chinese instead of going out on Friday night. Mike and I were going to go to P.F. Changs but decided being at home was more of what we wanted to do, live each day like you want!

We ordered bean curd, our favorite place with great food!

We both got hot and sour soup, one of my favorite soups!

I rolled with chicken lettuce wraps, I need to make these at home myself. I love them so much!

IMG 2665 Marvelous in my Monday with Halloween Fun!

Mike got a chicken and veggie stir fry!

Our words on the back of our fortune from our cookies were hilarious….

So not words to describe us! Ok we can be cheap sometimes, but hey, you have to be!

My bedtime snack that night was frankenberry, I ate my bowl of yum while reading the comics on the back of the box.

Saturday Marvelous….

We were so excited for trick or treating! We had the candy all ready for the kids and we actually ran out! We bought 3 big bags, gone! So many kids! We felt bad when there was still 45 minutes left and we had to go in our house and hide! Was so funny, because we all were being so quiet when the doorbell would ring and we had the house all dark.

IMG 2678 Marvelous in my Monday with Halloween Fun!

My trick or treat outfit and my pumpkin I painted!

IMG 2733 Marvelous in my Monday with Halloween Fun!

I painted a hello kitty, it turned out ok! We actually should of used a way smaller pumpkin, but oh well!

IMG 2677 Marvelous in my Monday with Halloween Fun!

First halloween at our house and first trick or treat!

IMG 2734 Marvelous in my Monday with Halloween Fun!

We had so much fun! The boys had fun playing football while we were out there too. Handsome guys

IMG 2700 Marvelous in my Monday with Halloween Fun!

Anthony didn’t go trick or treating this year, he is too cool, ha! I wanted him to go just so he could get candy for Mike and I, but nope!

Oh and I made some AWESOME chicken chili cheese soup for us in the crock pot for our dinner and we all agreed it rocked! I will share the super easy recipe tomorrow!

IMG 2709 Marvelous in my Monday with Halloween Fun!

What is a holiday without cookies?

I always love to bake some kind of sweet for the holidays, this was the winner last night.

IMG 2728 Marvelous in my Monday with Halloween Fun!

Sunday was just a lazy day around here so no pics to share from that! We were bums all day, nothing wrong with that!

Happy Monday friends! I am off to do some MARVELOUS grocery shopping! Can’t wait to read your posts!
Katie xo

Looks like such a fun weekend! Love the hello kitty pumpkin! We had a ton of trick or treaters at the mall on Halloween when I was working! We ran out of candy too and I felt so bad!! Looks like you had the perfect halloween!

Haha I love your Hello Kitty pumpkin!

And that takeout looks delicious. I haven’t had Chinese takeout in years because it’s so hard to find places that are careful about their use of nuts. There was one place I used to be able to eat at (that closed down) that had the most amazing orange chicken – I miss it!

I’ve never seen trick or treat on a weekend and during the afternoon! That sounds fun though! Sitting outside and handing out the candy is very cute! I hope I get a chance to hand out some candy next year! (:

There is SO much marvelous here! Love it all! First, your HK pumpkin is adorable and absolutely perfect for you! Since you didn’t carve it, it will probably last for a few months. Maybe you can accessorize it with Christmas clothes/hair pieces? ;-p

I love you and your love for Frankenberry cereal! I haven’t tried it, but any colorful cereal makes me happy. I’m currently obsessed with Cinnamon Chex, which are an ugly brown, but taste sooo yum.

The Chicken Chili looks amazing! Post that recipe soon! LOVE YOU!! xoxo

Ahh those chicken lettuce wraps look divine!! I’ve always wanted to make homemade versions of those, too.

Also, LOVE the Pillsbury sugar cookies! It it just me or is it hard to not just want to eat the cookies in their dough form…?! :)

28 Healthy Diva November 5, 2012 at 8:04 pm

I know, I really should! I have seen the sauce packs you can buy at the store!

Haha. I love the back of the Frankenberries… Even though I can’t eat mainstream cereal anymore, I LOVE looking at the back of my brother’s cereal boxes. :)

And that chicken veggie stir-fry looks amazing. Did it have a sauce? It looks kind of like the Moo Goo Gai Pan that I used to get from a local Chinese restaurant. My favorite!

30 Healthy Diva November 5, 2012 at 4:48 pm

Yes, I feel like I love cereal here and there, but lately it has been not so much a love for me! I did enjoy the frankeberries though!

Yes, it did have a sauce on the side, it was a white sauce so hard to see!

What a fun filled holiday weekend! It looks like you guys had a ton of fun!! I’m glad the neighbours still had the chance to go out trick-or-treating even though the weather wasn’t the best on actual Halloween:) Too bad Anthony is too cool for it now ha ha. Your pumpkin is the sweetest thing ever, love it! And obviously chili is the best way to eat after Halloween celebrating!
