Happy New Years Eve to all! Hoping you ring in 2013 in a fun, safe, and magical way! We will be going out to dinner tonight, no idea where! Mike picked a surprise place and just told me to be ready, all I know is that is 5 course and I am ready! YUM!
New Years will be different this year since it will not be spent in Chicago like the past 3 years….
which means no sprinkles cupcakes to be brought home this new year….
and no champagne of course, with a baby G on the way!
This year will be amazing, just a nice dinner, stopping over at a friends house, and then home early to spend the evening with my boys! We will all ring in 2013 together, I do need to buy some non-alcoholic champagne and Anthony will have some sparkling grape juice!
SO those are my plans today <3

Marvelous game night with the boys, scrabble was the pick by Anthony. The boys beat me, I will win next time 
Marvelous is picking out Baby G’s first book! Anthony loved this book when he was little and said the baby should have it, so sweet! I know he/she will love it as much as he did, I used to read him this all the time!
Marvelous is fruit, something that has been a snack nightly for me before bed. I like fruit or cereal, but fruit has been a favorite more than the other.
Marvelous is getting the driveway shoveled and getting a workout with it too! I was safe, no worry! I know to be safe while pregnant and to not overdo lifting heavy or overdoing it!
Marvelous is a sweet husband, had this note left for me with hot cocoa when I came in from shoveling! Mike was not happy I shoveled, since he knew the neighbors might think he is crazy to have me doing it, but it was my choice! I like doing stuff like that, mine as well while I can too! I help out as much as I can around here since he works hard, I let him sleep in!
Marvelous is all the extra time I have had with Mike since he had some days off, has been so nice! I am a lucky lady 
Marvelous is a burger, spinach, and hummus in a wrap. SO good!
Marvelous is this mascara I got for christmas, I love it! A new favorite!
Marvelous is finding a cheap dress for Mike’s holiday party next weekend, the ivory lace I went with. I am not fitting in other dresses I have, so had to roll with a new one! I am going to wear a blazer with it too, since it will be cold!
Marvelous is that we are going to have a beautiful kick off to 2013 tonight having a wonderful dinner, seeing this wonderful group of friends at the NYE party, and ringing in the new year with my boys <3

Yes, how cute is that right? We were out at TJ Maxx and he saw it and knew that the baby should have it! I wish we had his books, but I donated them all to a daycare long time ago!

My kids love Brown Bear Brown Bear! Plus it’s easy for you to read too. I know it’s hard to believe but soon you’ll be searching for the shortest book on the shelf… and you’ll probably pick up that one

I’m such a great fan of all the Eric Carle books, great choice! I’m with you on fruit as a night time snack. I’ve been favoring cars cara oranges lately. They probably taste almost identical to regular navels, but they’re pink! SO automatically they taste better, at least in my mind

Yes, Eric Carle books are wonderful! Anthony had them all! I want to get them all for Baby G! I am thinking of going to thrift stores to get books too, much cheaper!
