Weekend gone….womp, womp, womp!
Oh but a great weekend is all that matters and that is what we had over here! Hoping all of you did too! I am also hoping all of you share your marvelous weekend with me MIMM style…..
We found the sun light at Ikea! I am so excited to see how it is going to look in the nursery! Hoping it is not too complicated to put up, we will see. The nursery will be coming along soon, I am trying to get it all done soon, but I also know Baby G will be sleeping bedside with me in the guest room for the first 3 or 4 months in his bassinet. No rush, but I do want to get the painting done the next 2 weeks and get the furniture ordered too.
We had a great date night on Saturday at Table, great food and just great quality time with my love <3
Drinks by a candle light, no wine! Soon enough there will be a wine glass in my hand, hehe!
And one of those chocolate covered pretzel martinis in my hand too! Sounds amazing!!!!

Salmon, berry, and pear salad for me! I loved it!
I got green beans too, love my veggies!
Saturday night at home after dinner was spent with my loves, we listened to old school music and taught Anthony what good music is! Haha! Old days! We had him listening to WIll Smith Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff, man we feel old!
Smart fries cheddar flavor and a new book to add to the growing Baby G library!
Shopping with my sisters Sunday, I love them! Nice not to drive too!

Bath and Body works 3 wick candle deal! 2 for 22 yesterday! Woot woot!

Salmon dinner for the boys and I last night!

i love the baby’s light from ikea! so cute!! i had to laugh at anthony’s face in the last photo. he looks ohh so excited for his salmon! hahaha. at his age if someone would have tried to feed me salmon i probably would have barfed, and now it’s my fave food! what a cutie! have a great monday, my love!! <3

I’m impressed that Anthony eats salmon already, too….I wouldn’t have touched that at his age haha, but I was also the pickiest eater known to man until I was 19 or so

Yes he does! He loves it! I know pic looks like he is afraid of it, lol! He just is at the age where he hates pics so he wasn’t loving I took one, haha!

I love Ikea. I bought all my furniture there when I redid my room about 10 years ago. Everything has lasted and had good quality. It is so easy to get lost in that store buying a million things you don’t need because all the rooms look arranged perfectly haha.

I would suggest getting the nursery done way in advance of your little guy being born.. You won’t really have time to set it up after he is born, and who knows you might want to move him into his crib sooner than 3-4 months… We are doing it in the next few weeks..

I was craving a shopping weekend so bad and finally had somewhat of one. We went to the outlets and Nordstrom Rack but I’m still itching to go to the mall. I can’t wait to see Baby G’s nursery! I’m sure it’s going to Rock!

That picture of Anthony eating the salmon seriously makes me laugh because it kind of looks like the look that I give my food if I’m iffy about it… and salmon is definitely one of the things that I’m iffy about.

I had one of the BEST chocolate espresso martini’s when I vacationed in St. Louis a few months ago…I ordered a pumpkin spice one, but sadly it was not at all what I was expecting so luckily the bartender let me trade it out!
Never thought to put salmon and pears together…I may have to try that…with some goat cheese of course (can’t have a salmon salad without goat cheese!) Was the dressing they served yours with fruity?

Sounds like a Wonderful Weekend for sure! Loving the bump – has the little rock star been doing air guitar or drumming or not real active yet? When I was in Hawaii they used guava, plum and local honey on fish and seafood – YUM – have to experiment at home now – not to sweet though, so have to find that sweet/savory balance somehow.
