MIMM #89 Non Stop Namaste + Best Husband Ever!

by Healthy Diva on March 17, 2014

This weekend was one of the busiest, blessed, and exhausting weekends I think I have had since the first week Rocco was born. Phew! Seriously, I don’t think I sat once, or slept. I never sleep well anyways, so no big surprise there!

Yoga Teacher Training started this past weekend, and all I can say is that it was amazing and exhausting. I am going to be sharing  YTT on my yoga page under the fitness menu.

My marvelous recap is going to be short and sweet, because I am seriously damn exhausted and wrote this post for the most part last night, when I was half dead. Haha.

Marvelous was getting surprise roses at my door Friday from my husband. Seriously could he be any more amazing? Plus, the roses were to say he was proud of me on my yoga teacher training, and excited for me.

The note was also supposed to say to best wife ever, best mom ever, and love you. The poor old guy that answered the phone when Mike ordered the flowers, was not so good at writing it all down, lol. Oh well! The roses are the BIG part!

Marvelous is the cutest pics of Rocco from the weekend!

Seriously, this new thing he does with his lips is hilarious!

Admiring himself in the mirror…

Practicing downward dog  ( little yogi sidekick )

Being focused and cute…

Marvelous food of the weekend…

Big ass pizza kind of Friday night, good pre-yoga training fuel. Haha!

Baby food making, broccoli ( Rocco loves , so I make this veggie always weekly! )

I also did some fruit, I will share some more baby food recipes on the family page this week!

Yasso  dark chocolate raspberry yum….so damn good.

( these bars are the perfect healthy sweet treat!!! )

Dark chocolate sun cups, amazing

( I was on a dark chocolate kick I suppose  ;-) )

Yoga eats, lots of snacks too. I packed a  flat out wrap with turkey, spinach,  and guacamole lime greek yogurt in it. Veggies, snap peas, fruit, and lots of snacks too. Bai5 I am going to be going through like crazy, especially the coconut. So refreshing after hot yoga, ahhhhhhhh.

Protein  Mocha Javapro Shake before at yoga yesterday ( easy to just add the scoops of powder and add water when I got to yoga training )

LOVE that this protein has caffeine, was much needed with the long day I had ahead!

And most of my weekend was spent right here….

On my mat in my happy place.  Place where all my worries, stress, and noise disappear.

Had a really awesome weekend over here, and I have to give a HUGE thank you to my husband for being the best husband ever. I am so grateful he supports my dreams, is my rock, my best friend, and the best dad/stepdad ever.

Well, time for more yoga today! Mommy and me yoga we are off to over here, excited for Rocco to be joining me at the studio today!

Have a wonderful Monday friends!

Oh and ONE more thing……

Marvelous is my NEW SITE design! I am sure you guys may have noticed! Hope you guys are loving the new, cleaner, and classier look! There is now a fashion tab, under that is the “Pretty Little Things” posts that I will be doing twice as week, as well as some fashion posts.

The Baby G page is now a Family page, and there will be a fun header on there too, going up tomorrow. Under the fitness tab there is a yoga subtitle, so I will be sharing all yoga stuff on there. Lots of new additions, and I hope you guys really like it!

Happy Monday! Off to get my yoga on with my little man!

Katie xo

74 Nikki March 19, 2014 at 9:46 am

I already got a baby food making machine like yours and my boy isn’t due for 3 more months. Then I assume he won’t be able to use it for several months. When did Rocco start eating anything other than breast milk?

75 Healthy Diva March 19, 2014 at 12:09 pm

Hi! Yay! He started eating oatmeal at 4.5 months, and then fruits and veggies at 5 months, he was ready!
