Enjoying The Sunshine + Headstand Fun

Yesterday was the perfect summer day! The weather was not too hot, it actually felt like fall!

Breakfast was perfect for outdoors  😀

overnight berry oats <3

Since the weather was so nice, Rocco and I took our little booties to the park to enjoy it!

We didn’t go to our park in the neighborhood, we decided to go to a local park just a 5 minute drive away. They had all new playgrounds put in a couple months ago, so it was nice to go see. Rocco is still too little to enjoy the awesome playgrounds, but soon enough he will want me to take him there daily!

He enjoyed the swing though! This video cracks me up, I am sure some of you already saw it on my instagram and facebook!

After the park, I stopped by my moms and she graciously gave me her dunkin donut k-cups , well I might of begged a little. Seriously, we need a dunkin donuts closer!

Gotta love moms house, never leave empty handed!

Later in the afternoon while Rocco slept, I worked on my sequence for tonights yoga class and I practiced my headstand. I really want to be able to do a handstand soon, my goal!

And when Mike got home, we all took a walk together! It was nice to get one in before dinner time.

Now I am rushing around to get some stuff done and coffee in my system before I drop Rocco off at daycare! His second day!

Have a wonderful day, friends!

Here in Illinois we have had similar Fall-ish weather. I like it though! I’m a fall fan as well, so it’s kind of nice to put a sweatshirt on in the morning but be comfortable the rest of the day.

The weather has been rainy overall; but thank goodness the temperatures are summer-like :)

I LOVE THAT TANK TOP!!! May I ask the brand?

I live in San Francisco, and during the summer months it’s cold and misty. I walk to work and I am nearly drenched with the mist and fog by the time I arrive. As a former Floridian, this is the hardest season to be in SF for me. Enjoy your nice weather! I miss Florida summers and the sunshine!

It is the HOT time of the year in the desert here and the Summer storms are kicking off Wild Fires due to the dry and wet lightening – Scary at times! It is SO DRY here!

I love Summer and Fall BEST :) Spring I either love or not. Do not care for Winter as much as I age – ha!

    Happy Thursday :)

Summer, summer, summer!! I get summers off, so there’s no question. Plus, all that wonderful fruit that’s in season? YUM! Although pumpkin-flavored everything is nice, too. :-)

Whoaaa Rocco looks sooo mature and big in that stroller picture! Our babes are at that stage where they’re still babies, but seem like big kids at random times. :( And yayyy great job on the headstand! I’ve been practicing both the head and hand stands lately and definitely excited to see improvement happening. 😀 For the headstand, which muscles would you say you’re tensing up and using the most? I think it’s always helpful to know exactly what to use to be successful with those poses.

Great job w/the headstand, I need to start practicing.

I grew up on the beach, so summer was my world! But now that I am older and dont live on the beach, I really just love Fall. Not that I ever, ever wish summer away!
