Hello 3 Day Juice Cleanse!

Am I crazy? Well, some seem to think I am crazy. And sure I may be at times, but a good crazy and one that likes to try new things and have fun.

I never tried a juice cleanse, and I love to try new things. Perfect opportunity to do it, and will be ok for 3 days. Any longer, I would not be interested.

Well,  when Garden of Flavor contacted me about trying their 3 day juice cleanse a couple weeks ago,  I decided to try it out.

I liked the way their cleanse sounded, and loved too that I am able to do the cleanse the way it best fits me.

Meaning, I will be having fruits and veggies in between my juices. Lots of avocado especially, which I will have to go stock up on more today!

3 days, 18 juices, I got this!



The juices all sound good, except for the last juice of the day which is a turmeric one.



I love that the juices are labeled 1-6 too. So I know which ones to have throughout the day.






I will be having one cup of black coffee in the morning too. Luckily the cleanse allows for coffee, but they prefer tea more. I definitely need my coffee! Like I said, making this juice cleanse work the way it fits me.


So wish me luck! I just had my first juice of the day and it was yummy!

Always down for trying new things, and hoping I like the way this cleanse makes me feel. Perhaps it will help my digestive system get back in order too  ;-)

Those juices look super yummy & refreshing. I would only drink those as a “snack” or beverage during the day.. I’ve done a juice cleanse before & I just can’t do liquids all day! haha I’m excited to hear your final thoughts & how you felt about the flavors!!! MmM!

i’ve never heard of garden of flavor! i’ve never done a real juice cleanse and now’s not the time for me but i’ll be curious about your experience :)

I’ve always wanted to do a juice cleanse, but I’ve kind of been intimidated by it. Three days doesn’t sound so bad though! Can’t wait to hear how it goes!

I’ve been toying with the idea of a juice cleanse and I like the idea of a 3 day one. I will be curious to hear what you think. Can you workout while you cleanse?

3 days is good, and not too much! I am not sure if you can, I will be doing yoga the last day of my cleanse. I am adding fruits and veggies in too, so I am not doing just strict juice. I am sure with just strict juice, intense exercise would be hard, and not good!

Haha! Love you! I am not going the only juice route, so I guess you couldn’t say I am doing a “real cleanse” per say. I am eating veggies, fruit with it as well. I don’t think i could ever pull of a just juice cleanse. Of course I am not doing this to lose weight, I am eating lots of avocado with this too, to make sure I get extra healthy fat in over the 3 days!

I really like the idea of a short juice cleanse and tried the juices by Suja. Unfortunately I can’t get past the taste of drinking green veggies, which is too bad because it really made a huge difference how my body felt, even on just a 1 day cleanse!

I have tried a juice cleanse but unfortunately I couldn’t take the lack of food haha I gave up about late afternoon of my first day but I honestly already saw a difference in how I was feeling!

Feeling the same over here! I am eating food like fruit and avocado though, but still need real food! I am only doing another day today and done tomorrow!

I’ve tried a 3-day cleanse and this is what I’ve learned. It is a good idea to plan your detox on a normal or uneventful period. For obvious and practical reasons, avoid periods where there is a tendency to celebrate or dine out with family and friends. It is also important to let everyone you interact know that you’re undergoing a juice cleanse so that they can be more supportive and refrain from inviting you out for food and drinks. Well, I unfortunately did at wrong time. I am only doing a 2 day due to having intense yoga tomorrow now. I was supposed to only have one class tomorrow, but have 2 now. I definitely need food to fuel! I totally love what you said, and agree! You have to do it when you have nothing going on.

I also eat light meals such as fruits, vegetables and soup one day prior to my juice cleanse, it conditions my mind and body for the detox. And the most important part is to get at least 8 hours of sleep the night before and for the entire duration of the detox because lack of sleep will trigger false hunger.
I admire your determination to stay healthy. Keep inspiring people.
