So the stroller debate is going on over here….
I have to say I am head over heels in love with this OrbitG2 stroller and infant seat combo!
I have only heard great things about the G2! I like that it is a stroller and infant seat combo, which makes it very convenient!
I am wanting to add the bassinet option as well, but not sure if anyone has it and thinks it is worth it. I wish it came with this set and wasn’t separate!
The other stroller system I am debating between is the UppaBaby Mesa infant seat/stroller combo that does not come out until spring! I have heard good things about UppaBaby and this is the first time they are relasing a infant seat and stroller combo!

I am wondering how it will compare to the G2, I can’t find reviews yet obviously since it has not been released. Spring is coming soon, I am just not sure how early in spring they are releasing this so I may contact the company and see. I really want to get my stroller/infant combo by April.
Another thing on my list is a jogging stroller. Mike and I are going to put one on our registry, definitely not putting the other stroller on there, way too expensive. We are grateful we can get the orbit or uppababy ourselves, especially since we have Mike’s family purchasing our nursery furniture for us.
But a jogging stroller we thought we would put on the registry, some people do like to split bigger ticket items on a registry, so who knows.
I am clueless when it comes to a jogger, so I need your help on this too!
I have heard good things about the BOB jogging stroller, and that is the only one I know!

I am not sure what kind is a good one or a reasonable priced one, so any advice is appreciated!
The stroller debate going on!
FRIENDS………..
Any of you have the orbitg2 stroller or one similar to it and love it? I would LOVE feedback on the orbit g2 since that is the one I have my heart set on.
Jogging stroller, any recommendations?!
Thank you in advance for any help!

Eeek. Just a heads up, I think there’s a typo in the sentence about putting the jogging stroller on your registry and ppl splitting costs for items….
I just said HOLY you know what out loud, thank YOU! I hate the word, if there is ONE word in the world that makes me angry and cringe, it is that word. I was doing this post in a rush and omg, I did not proof read, thank you Sarah <3
No problem:) totally an innocent mistake. Just didn’t want you to get crazy attacked on here! Haha
I have a BOB and love it!! It’s so convenient and handles wonderfully on snow and other rough terrain.
I have heard good things about Chariots for jogging strollers. I really want to get a jogging stroller for spring/summer but they are so $$
I know, they are. I am hoping if we find a decent one to put on registry, maybe people will go in and split! Never know
I wish I could get the Orbit! But it is out of my price range. I got a BOB for long walks/jogs with the baby and more adventurous outings. I also got a Snap N Go for errands, simple things like going to the grocery store.
Ahhhh!! The dreaded stroller issue! We gave a lot of thought when it came to the stroller issue and looking at the costs of them, which are extremely overpriced in my opinion, we opted to go with the jogger baby trend travel system from Babies r Us which is half the price of the top of the line trendy ones. Neither one of us are serious joggers so this stroller worked just fine for long walks. We then purchased the snap n go for small trips to the grocery store or restaurants. I used this way more than the jogger and probably spent a total of $500 on all of it as opposed to the $2000 we were originally looking at. In all honesty, as long as its safe I say get the most for your money because the time goes by so quickly!!!
Thank you for your words of advice! I appreciate, as you know! My little heart really set on the orbit, we will see! <3
The Mesa looks way too cool! I have also heard many great things about the orbit. I don’t think you can go wrong either way!
Hey Katie! I am the one who commented several months ago about staying in shape during pregnancy and asking you about losing the baby weight! Now my little man is here!!! I have a 7 week old rockstar! While I was pregnant, we knew we wanted our big stroller purchase to be the bob for jogging/walks, anything outdoorsy. We also use it shopping. As for the infant carrier and running errands, we bought the chicco key fit 30 because it is one of 3 that fit the bob stroller with an adapter. If you don’t buy one of the 3 infant carriers tat fit the bob, you have to wait a few months for the baby to be able to ride in it. The chicco got the best reviews outif the 3 brands that fit the bob. To run errands, doctors offices, grocery store, etc we use the chicco snap n go stroller. The carrier just clicks right in and it’s so convenient! There is a basket underneath that easily fits my huge diaper bag and purse. I hope this helps some!!! I’m a new mom and absolutely love how we transport baby!! Congrats on your little man!!
Congrats Katie! Can’t believe he is here! I bet he is just so handsome and you are loving every minute!!
Thank you for the feedback girl! Congrats again too and enjoy being a mommy! <3
Wow, who knew strollers could be so complex and high-tech? That is pretty amazing.
Go for the Orbit, you won’t regret it! We have the original Orbit (bought for first son in 2008) and it’s amazing! They’ve added a couple features (better cup holder. Ohh the little things) but the design is flawless. Love love love the paparazi shield fir rain/cold/snow. We got great use with it when our second son came along, too. My husband’s favorite part is using it at the zoo, being able to turn the seat and stroll past the animals haha. Do know that you will never be able to go anywhere without stares and questions!!
We also have a mountain buggy jogger, it’s a double but amazing. Heard great things about the singles, too!
Thank you so much! I really am loving it, it was the one I had my heart set on at first and still do!
Buying a stroller is more complicated than buying a car! I’m sorry, I have no idea about anything baby related. Fingers crossed you get the jogging stroller as a gift!
Haha! It really can be!
I have the uppababy vista and love it. It is completely all black and we got the car seat attachment and are rolling with a all black preg prego car seat. We are having a ill rock star too! He debuts in April and will be named Roxton
I am so excited for you!! Thank you instagram friend! <3
My advice (given to me and passed along now!) is forgo the travel system (orbit). Get the bob revolution se, buy the car seat adapter so you can use it when he is first born. Buy a good umbrella stroller (like a Maclaren). The reality is unless you stroll the streets of NYC alot, the jogging stroller is perfect for the park, walks, mall, etc. he will fit in the umbrella stroller around 4-5 months probably so you can then use that. It’s my two cents! I ordered the uppa baby and loved it but sent it back prior to having our boy b/c I didn’t know when I would really use it!!
I bought a Jeep jogging stroller and for how cheap it was, I absolutely LOVED it!
I wish I could give you advice on this lol….all I can contribute is “ohhh what color?” haha
We have the City Mini Elite and like it a lot. Pretty much any car seat can snap into it which makes it really convenient.
What brand is that? Or is that the brand!?
Lots of love to you and the little man!
It seems to be by a brand called Baby Jogger.

Definitely Uppababy!! We, too, we’re looking at Orbit but ultimately chose Uppababy (Vista model) for it’s durability and amazing storage space. My son is now 3.5 years and we still use it as needed. We live in a big city and I walk everywhere. At one point (and quite often, let’s be honest) I’ve been able to store the diaper bag, groceries and my yoga mat. It’s super durable and can handle long distances on city streets. Not sure about the running strollers or features but I put quite a few miles on it, walking at super brisk speeds. I HIGHLY recommend it but you should also chose the model/brand that’s best for you and your lifestyle. Good luck!! Ps, test as many as possible in the stores… It took us forever to make the decision but glad we didn’t rush into it.
Thank you for your comment Mary! I am still looking into what will be a good fit for me! Thank you for your feedback and taking the time to comment!!
I absolutely LOVE my jogging stroller. It’s a Phil & Teds classic. http://philandteds.com/us/Products/Push/classic#.US2Ulvq9Kc0
My daughter usually hates strollers, but has loved this one. It’s a smooth ride, and does well in rugged conditions (rocks, mud, snow).
As for those other strollers, both seem and look awesome! I swear strollers were not that sophisticated when my daughter was born…and she’s only 3-1/2! I’m curious to see what you choose!
I just saw that brand on gilt or zulily yesterday, can’t remember which site! Thank you!
I have no experience of jogging strollers but I’ve had lots of other pushchairs.
My favourite was the iCandy Apple. I wasn’t too bothered about attaching a car seat to it as I’d read it was best for the baby to be laid flat and we had a fixed car seat in the car. You can attach a maxi-cosi car seat to it which we did a couple of times when my second baby was born.
I’d highly recommend it. We only sold it because we needed a double (13 month gap between first and second babies)
Thank you for your feedback girl!
are you people nuts? why don’t you just buy a reasonably-priced Graco car seat with base and stroller frame? all of the together will cost less than 1/2 the price of these designer strollers, which are a complete scam to convince mothers that their babies need the newest and priciest items.
I guess I am nuts, but I respect your comment
I know pricey, but I also know my next baby will use the stroller and seat too.
I don’t (yet) have a baby…but I have heard that Orbit is amazing. Also, I hear UppaBaby is excellent. I think I would go with UppaBaby…but that’s just me! Good luck…
I just ran across your blog and had to throw in my two cents.
I just had baby #2 and I wish someone had recommended my new stroller to me back when I had baby #1. It is the city select by baby Jogger. I love it because it has about fifty different combos you can do, including single and double stroller and it fits most if not all carseats with an adapter. If you are planning on having two in a stroller this is worth your attention. It’s a little heavy to be a true jogging stroller, but it is very all terrain so I use it for exercising anyways. Let me know if you have any questions!
Nice to meet you!!
Thank you for all your advice, very much appreciated! So sweet you took the time to leave some! Thanks again!!
Hey there! I know nothing on this situation, but I did find a blog posting on tips of running with strollers and thought you might enjoy. The link is http://fitbottomedgirls.com/2013/02/12-tips-for-running-with-a-stroller/
Hope it gives you great advice on what to do after you find the perfect stroller
Thank you SO much Nicole! I appreciate that!
