JAVAPRO Power Me Up!

I was excited to have the chance to try this protein powder out. Yoga teacher training was the perfect timing, I needed a caffeine and protein boost to get through long days.

Last weekend before yoga, I just mixed 1.5 scoops with 12 oz water in a blender bottle. Shook it up, and enjoyed!

I think this picture pretty much sums up how I felt…




Yum! I loved the taste and of course the fact that it was going to power me through to wake me up, and to fuel my muscles!

I even took some on the go to yoga the next day, just put the scoop dosage in the blender bottle, and added water when I got to the studio. I am loving this stuff!

Love it so much I decided to make something I could eat with it.

Mocha Chocolate Chip Protein Cookie Balls




  • 1 scoop of JAVAPRO mocha protein powder
  • 1.5 tbsp of nutbutter ( I used Justin’s chocolate hazelnut, which was AWESOME )
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • stevia
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 egg white



Mix all ingredients above, form into balls, and bake for 7-9 minutes at 350 degrees.

I got 5 cookies out of the batch.

5 yummy cookies  :-D

These are so good, and are going to be perfect for a pre-yoga snack and boost!



JAVAPRO has other flavors too…

  • Espresso
  • French Vanilla
  • Latte
  • Caramel
  • Hazelnut

I think caramel and french vanilla would be amazing too.

I will be enjoying two of these before my hot yoga class this morning, perfect  ;-)

oooh i agree caramel and french vanilla would be great!! post-baby i definitely want to try this – i’m off caffeine right now!!

i made balls with mine too! hehe we need a coffee and ball (i mean bite) date.. you know what i mean. ;-)

I’ve never tried a protein powder with the added caffeine, but it sounds like a great boost! I also love using it in snack recipes when you just want to grab something quick and not have a shake :)
